All About Us

Fundamentals is all about establishing a strong foundation upon which to develop and enhance your softball career. We are geared to further your skills at every level, from beginners to club team, to high school and beyond. We will provide expert instruction, through our staff of current and former college players, of the Fundamentals of softball such as, fielding and throwing, infield and outfield, hitting and bunting, sliding and base running, pitching and catching. All of the essential Fundamentals to take your player to their next level.

Curriculum:
General Skills Clinic : Small groups will formed depending on age, where the players will work on all of the essential Fundamentals of the game.

High School: Designed for high school level players to increase their skill just in time to start season.

Kristin Gervasio

Kristin Gervasio is a former college level softball pitcher at Montclair State University. She attended Randolph High School where she was the starting pitcher for two years, and was named "All Conference Pitcher" for both. She began her ASA club softball career by playing 2 years with the North Jersey Shilohs. She continued her career with 3 years on the New Jersey Force where they qualified for the 2002 ASA Nationals in Rockford, Illinois. Kristin is now sharing her decade of successful playing through private pitching lessons and group clinics.

Megan Tantum

Megan Tantum is entering her senior year at Montclair State University as the starting catcher. She has been awarded NJAC honorable mention in 2006 and 2004. As a high school player, Megan started all four years as varsity catcher and made first-team all county her junior and senior year. Megan has played summer ball and fall ball for Ewing Township for ten years. Recently, she was a catching instructor for softball clinics for Princeton University and Mercer County Community College. Megan now brings her fifteen years of experience to us at Fundamentals.

 

Facilities (75,000 Square Feet)

The Indoor Sports Pavilion is located in the heart of Morris County in Randolph, NJ. Using state of that art turf for a real playing experience and housed in a permanent structure, the facility is superior to any other in the area.
