The SONESOCCER Winter Select program offers talented and committed players the opportunity to continue with competitive high-level soccer through the winter. This is done without threatening the structure of the club sides as the main provider in the Fall and Spring seasons. Our Winter Select program is part of our commitment to providing the best possible year-round opportunities for the soccer community we serve.
Our philosophy is that the Select soccer program should be competitive but positive, and the emphasis is on the highest possible level of training, developing the technical skills that can be honed indoors, to help players perform better when they return outside for the spring season. While the tournaments are a good focus, the emphasis is on the performance skills in the game situations rather than win at all costs.
The program for each age group is specific to the needs of those players, but all consist of training December through April, with the opportunity to play indoor tournaments, including the NJ Indoor State Cup. Training sessions are the Randolph Indoor Sports Pavilion, a beautiful and first class indoor facility location in Morris County.
